Sintered Magnesia brick is the largest production output, widely used in the world. It is made of sintered natural magnesia sand, with some certain amount of the additive agent, through mixed, shaped, sintered at 1550-1600℃ high temperature tunnel kiln. For the high purity brick, sintered in above 1750℃ temperature. The main phase is periclase. E-fused magnesia brick is made of e-fuzed magnesia sand as raw material.
It is mainly used in the steel-making basic open-hearth furnace, bottom and wall zone of EAF, permanent lining of oxygen converter, non-ferrous smelting furnace, basic high temp. tunnel kiln, working line of burning magnesia brick furnace and cement rotary kiln, bottom and wall of the heating furnace, checking brick in the regenerator of the glass furnace.
